On the occasion of the Entre/Between exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery, Muntadas noticed the security system at the gallery entrance. He took photos, three of which he displayed on a wall. Meta surveillance of art production, his own in this case, which in this retrospective exhibition discusses precisely the spheres of power, the systems of art, the archive or the domain of fear, to quote a few « constellations"

Aquesta exposició és la segona presentació pública de la col·lecció Per Amor a l’Art. En esta ocasió, hi ha els treballs de nombrosos artistes procedents de diferents països i èpoques per a plantejar un acostament a la construcció social de l’espai, a les formes en què representem, reproduïm, coneixem o habitem els llocs.

Autors com ara Henri Cartier-Bresson, Helen Levitt, Robert Frank, David Goldblatt, Takashi Hamaguchi o Paul Graham, se centren a capturar la dimensió del que és col·lectiu, amb una connexió entre el lloc, l’experiència, el cos i les relacions humanes.

Before Projection: Video Sculpture 1974-1995 shines a spotlight on a historical moment and a body of work in the history of media art that has been largely overlooked since its inception.  The exhibition explores the connections between our current moment and the point at which video art was transformed dramatically with the entry of large-scale, cinematic installation into the gallery space. This exhibition will present a re-evaluation of monitor-based sculpture since the 1970’s and serve as a tightly focused survey of works that have been rarely seen in the last twenty years.
