Book that was published for the 55th Biennale di Venezia and collects the project “Protocolli Veneziani I” by Antoni Muntadas.
The underlying objective of the project is to reveal the everyday side of the city that is hidden from the tourist’s eyes, deconstructing and dismantling reality, replacing it with fragments or clues. What emerges is an image of the city marked by the paradox of a local culture that has been the object of a process of internationalization that inevitably affects the evolution of its protocols.
