Asian Protocols: Cartographies is an image-research about Korea, Japan and China using 43 keywords such as diplomacy, politics, order, meeting, sports, or religion, among others.
Among the researched images, 4 to 5 were selected and juxtaposed on a diagram. The English keywords were translated into Korean, Japanese, and Chinese. Then, those words were indexed with blue, red and yellow colours.
As stated by the artist, 'Protocol keywords and image mapping' doesn't aim to give objective data. Instead, it's the artist's interpretation and translation of three countries' protocols with over 400 images through comparison and juxtaposition.
