Repàs de l´estat actual de l´arquitectura a través de 21 assajos inèdits i 70 projectes arquitectònics internacionals agrupats en cinc apartats: mutacions, fluxos, terrain vague, habitacions i contenidors. Exposició en el marc del XIX Congrés de la Unió Internacional d'Arquitectes celebrat durant el mes de juliol de 1996 en el CCCB.

La biennale Artifices, quatrième du nom et déjà ancrée dans la réalité culturelle de Saint-Denis continue à explorer l'implication des nouveaux médias dans l'art contemporain.
"Langages en perspective": Artifices 4 donnera la parole aux artistes qui présenteront leurs œuvres et leurs recherches ayant trait aux multimédias, aux réseaux ou à la réalité virtuelle.

Tomando como punto de partida la exposición de 1987 La Imagen Sublime. Vídeo de creación en España (1970-1987), que tuvo lugar en el por aquel entonces Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, surge esta exposición igualmente dedicada al videoarte en España.

The topical issue of ARS 95 is the barrier between the private and public, by posing questions regarding identity, the human body, death, sexuality and social gender affiliations. It investigates the nature of society, group loyalties and political power structures, the media world and the images of virtual reality. The exhibition also emphasis visual language and its forms of expression, and considers interpretation as a means of communication between the art work and the viewer. 

Els límits del museu va constituir un assaig de qüestionament col·lectiu del significat i les realitzacions del museu dins el món occidental, i també del procés de transformació que l’afecta. El museu, tal com nosaltres l’entenem, està arribant a la seva fi? S’ha perpetuat més enllà de les seves definicions, des del classicisme fins a la postmodernitat? I, si és així, com evolucionarà en el futur?

In the 20th century, art was crossed with cinema, with television and with informatics in its virtual reality version. The firs of these invented the effect of reality, the second the live phenomenon, the third interactivity. Their "systematic age" and their order of appearance on the stage had, and are still having, a dominant influence and different effects on the plastic arts. These three areas structure the Biennale. 

En apuesta exposició, a través de monuments erigits a una alcaldes de Barcelona, l'art, que és una pràctica de subjecte, remate a la política, una pràctica social que consisteix a cercar solucions, respostes, ben al revés del que fa l'art, que té l'esperit d'interrogació propi de la filosofía. El monument podria ésser definit com una obra -d'escultura o d'arquitectura o del que ara hom en diu una instal·lació- aixecada, efímerament o no, per recordar o per perpetuar una persona o una feta.

Catalogo de "Beyond the bridge", exposición que tiene como elemento central la confrontación entre viejo y nuevo. Una confrontación que representa inspiración y innovación. El viejo -pero los tiempos de innovación- están utilizados para crear nuevas y sorprendentes relaciones. La vida es la conexión de elementos que se pueden arreglar en un orden diferente y único para y por todos. La pregunta es: ¿qué piensan los artistas contemporáneos ?

Catalogue of the exhibition "Imagined City" that stemmed from the interest in situating the Brasilia project whiten the scope of the modern theories of urbanism, art and architecture of this century and in questioning the consequences that ensued its creation. Modern cities are always built in a planned fashion by dint of the historic and economic constraints of contemporary world. The first part of the exhibition brings together vast material on literature, cinema, architecture, cartoon strips and plastic arts.
