El trabajo de Antoni Muntadas se nos ofrece como una suerte de puerta entreabierta a través de la cual se vislumbra algo de luz, como una especie de pista que resolverá la intriga pero que no nos servirá para aclarar nada, sino para llegar a un lugar donde encontrar otra puerta entreabierta. Y así sucesivamente, porque Muntadas no da respuestas. Sus obras son preguntas, cuestionamientos, apelaciones, que recuerdan nuestra capacidad de estar atentos y, por tanto, inevitablemente involucrados en lo que nos rodea.

A group of women is going round an empty space made of tatami beds. The culture of Ancient China had a floor-level furniture tradition, which was disseminated to Japan and Korea. Tatami culture is still present in both the latter countries, while China has changed it for a historical tradition of chairs and desk-level furniture. Modernization brought Western seat technology in to the region, maybe that is the reason why these women are revolving around traditional beds in such a ritualist spatial ceremony.
