Portable Monument to Anonymous Emigrant Filipino Workers by Antoni Muntadas (Barcelona, 1942) is composed of a series of 10 medals that are part of the project for the Ateneo Art Gallery. These medals are in recognition of the work of Filipino immigrants, their generosity and the contributions they have made to the community that they now belong to.

Especies, seda, marfil, porcelana, lacas, alfombras, tapices, prendas de algodón y biombos, entre otros productos, se embarcaban en el Galeón de Manila con destino a Acapulco. En sentido contrario, desde el puerto de Acapulco, viajaban misioneros, funcionarios reales, comerciantes y soldados, así como plata, animales y plantas. Hay especies de flora y fauna que, al trasladarse a otros ecosistemas, se convierten en invasoras hasta el punto de dañar y poner en peligro a las especies autóctonas.
