"Ars Electronica" is a special event that promotes digital arts and experimentation. 

 "Alternativa" es un festival indipendente y alternativo que se enfoca en el arte viva, en la relación entre arte y sociedad, a través de la performance y del videoarte. 

La exposición "Contraparada" tiene el objetivo de mostrar en Murcia el arte en diversos modos y con distintas propuestas a la vez que ofrece la posibilidad de unir las creaciones propias de la contemporaneidad con las de referencia profundamente clásica, y las que han obtenido eco en los ámbitos nacional e internacional, con las que da importancia surgen del entorno mas inmediato.

Mediated Narrative is an exhibition of videotapes by artists who address the changing social and political values found in TV and who have experimented with a variety of new story-telling methods available to them through the television medium. Employing distinctly different styles, the language of television and video as a means of perceiving cultural information, and exploring the expressive possibilities of a still young art form. The artists included in the series are mediators between an individual's experience and the abstracted condensed vision of television.

The Festival has the aim to provide a showcase for independent productions completed since 1979 and a stimulus to future productions and showings. 

The world "SKY ART Conference" convenes artists, scientists, scholars, practitioners and educators to confer on present and future spatial life and its aspects of information, investigation, education and expression. It exposes facts of future life to professionals and a public at large which is urgently invited. The massive displays of power tools and power skills of the space shuttle will be contrasted with the quiet fulfillment of ancient dreams as in the Gossamer and Solar Challenger silent flights.

"Vídeo Art.Comportament Behavior" es una iniciativa del Instituto de Estudios Nord-Americanos que permite la realización de un intercambio y un debate entorno al arte actual, contribuyendo a la progresión del arte catalana en el contexto internacional. La selección de los trabajos para esta exposición demuestra la importante presencia del videoarte como nueva forma de expresión.

La XVI Bienal de São Paulo propone una Neva organización, basándose por un lado sobre una interpretación critica del material recibido y, por otro, invierte sobre el arte y la creación contemporánea. La idea es la de obtener un papel importante en el circuito cultural brasileño. 

The "CAPS/ICI 1981 Traveling Video Festival" includes video works by thirteen artists, continuing the now seven year long tradition of exhibiting video art by the yearly CAPS Fellowship recipients. Moreover, thanks to the involvement of the ICI, a national tour will be added to the initial bookings in New York State.
