Tras ser expuesto en Rotterdam y en Montreal, el proyecto se expuso posteriormente en el Museo de Arte de Berkley (California) del 7 de febrero al 29 de abril de 2001.
Los paneles anteriores de Rotterdam y Montreal se expusieron en las salas del museo (sin el soporte metálico con ruedas) y se creó un nuevo panel, expuesto sobre la estructura metálica con ruedas. Este nuevo panel está dedicado en cada caso a la ciudad que acoge el proyecto.
El nuevo panel número catorce, dedicado a la ciudad de Berkeley, se ubicó en el hall del museo.
Junto con el proyecto On Translation: The Audience, también se expusieron los proyectos The Board Room (1987) y una nueva versión, en colaboración con el filósofo John Rapko, de Between The Frames: The Forum (1983-1993).
El proyecto también fue posible gracias al apoyo en la dirección, producción y con colaboraciones de: John Rapko, Marc Augè, Constance Lewallen, and Alla Efimova.

The previous panels from Rotterdam and Montreal were exhibited in the museum's rooms (without the metal support with wheels) and a new panel was created, exhibited on the metal structure with wheels. This new panel is dedicated in each case to the city hosting the project.
The new panel number fourteen, dedicated to the city of Berkeley, was placed in the hall of the museum.
Along with the project On Translation: The Audience, the projects The Board Room (1987) and a new version, in collaboration with philosopher John Rapko, of Between The Frames: The Forum (1983-1993) were also exhibited.

Internationally acclaimed conceptual artist Antonio Muntadas will feature in an exhibition opening at the University of California, Berkeley Art Museum, and Pacific Film Archive on February 7, 2001.Muntadas-On Translation: The Audience will comprise three installations: The Board Room, Between the Frames, and a site-specific piece that is part of the artist's ongoing project On Translation: The Audience. Muntadas is renowned as a pioneer in the fields of video, installation, and Internet art. Born in Barcelona in 1942, he left Spain in the late 1960s and has subsequently embarked on a career that has taken him to every part of the world to create and present his work.
Each of the three major works being presented by the UC Berkeley Art Museum addresses the mediation of information within contemporary society.
